Inspiring Bright Digital Futures

One Day At A Time

Flyer introducing Digital Days
What are Digital Days?

Digital Days are exciting, hands-on events designed to introduce young people to the world of technology. In just one school day or its equivalent, learners get to explore real tech careers by stepping into the shoes of professionals such as data analysts, web developers, and app creators.

Who are they for?

Digital Days are designed for young people aged 8–16, whether they are in primary or secondary school, home educated, or part of a community group. Digital Days can be arranged for homeschoolers and community groups. We are disability-friendly. Let us know your needs and we will work with you to accommodate them.

What happens on the day?

In small groups, participants take on a real-world challenge as a data analyst, web developer, app creator or other such tech roles. Participants will:

  • Use digital tools and teamwork to solve problems
  • Explore roles in tech through fun, interactive activities
  • Present their ideas to their peers
  • Reflect on what they’ve learned about digital skills and careers

Each session is designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and inclusive – no coding experience needed! At the end of the day, all participants will receive a certificate of participation.

You also have the option to book a Digital Assembly to kick off your Digital Day.

Why host a Digital Day?

For schools, homeschooling groups, and educators, Digital Days offer:

  • Cross-curricular links to computing, PSHE, maths, and literacy
  • Ready-to-use resources teacher notes and pre-session preparation guide
