Volunteer Advisory Board Opportunities:

Join TEKSHAQQ’s Advisory Board. Help Us Shape a More Inclusive, Digitally Empowered Future

TEKSHAQQ is a social enterprise committed to building digital confidence, resilience and opportunity for underrepresented communities across London. Our work supports people at risk of digital exclusion – due to socioeconomic background, age, ethnicity, disability or other circumstances – to thrive in today’s digital society.

As we grow, we are forming an Advisory Board of trusted professionals to guide our mission, bring fresh ideas, and help ensure our work is impactful, inclusive, and sustainable.

We are currently seeking volunteer advisors in the following areas:

What you will do:
Support us to create inclusive, equitable programmes and workplace practices. Advise on inclusive language, outreach strategies, and ensure our work remains rooted in belonging and accessibility.
Who this suits:
Professionals with experience in EDI, community development, HR, or lived expertise in anti-oppression work.

Legal
What you will do:
Help us understand and meet our legal obligations as a growing social enterprise. Advise on contracts, data protection, partnerships, safeguarding policies, and more as needed.

Qualified legal professionals with experience in charity, education, digital or employment law.

Who this suits:
Experienced fundraisers, bid writers or development professionals in the charity, arts, education or social impact space.

Governance and Compliance
What you will do:

Help us meet our regulatory obligations as a limited company or CIC. This includes advising on Companies House filings, confirmation statements, annual accounts, and ensuring good governance and administrative practice.
Who this suits:
Company secretaries, administrators, or professionals experienced in charity/company compliance, especially with Companies House or the Charity Commission.
